First general meeting

Huge turnout at the meeting today in D100! Despite the numbers, we blazed through upcoming events, like the Fall Convention, and settled on a topic for debate next meeting (two weeks from today).

Meeting summary:

Next meeting: October 11 (Advisory Lunch) in D103

Debate topic: Be it resolved that the US is not an effective peacekeeping body.

JSA Edmonds Woodway Chapter

First club post!

Below is a summary of the issues discussed at the 9-19 meeting after school:

• Treasurers keep track of money – Sean’s going to get current club funds + keep track of stuff

o Times September 23/24 Saturday/Sunday 9am – 4pm
o Check on parents to see if they can be there

• Meetings
o First meeting – Next Wednesday during the hour lunch after Advisory in D103

- Have clubs every other week – alternate w/ SfD

o Go to Advisory periods and talk to them
